Active and Passive Cooling Systems can utlize available electrical power and can incorporate fault monitoring and electronic controls.

    AMETEK Rotron ECS systems utilize scalable vapor cycle based design refrigeration technology to cool equipment, personnel or systems below ambient temperature. Rotron ECS systems utilize robust Rotron fans and blowers to ensure high reliability, a compact footprint and compliance to applicable MIL-STD-810 environmental requirements. ECS systems are scalable from 77 watts to 12 kW and in all known applications and locations.

    AMETEK Rotron HVAC offerings are based on our developed fan, blower and cooling system and control technologies and add electric heaters to provide a fully managed environment. HVAC systems utlize sensing technologies to obtain feedback on the environment and then the system controller activates appropriate components to maintain humidity and air temperature. As with all of our offerings, AMETEK Rotron HVAC ssytems can be based on basic cooling and space claim requirements, or can be developed against a system specification, meeting MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810 or other regulatory specifications.

AMETEK Rotron has a great deal of practical field experience in electronic control of motors and power conversion - designed, manufactured and deployed to harsh Military and Aerospace applications over the last 50+ years.
